Below you’ll find the second installation of the Summer on Nob Hill text-photo series/data dump. A collection of effaced graffiti found on Nob Hill, each picture frames a collaboration between a graffiti artist and a homeowner, landlord, renter, or worker hired to mask the graffiti. A previous photo series/dump can be found in not enough data‘s introductory blog post.

Welcome to not enough data.
At irregular intervals, I’ll dump data on this site.
Everything from data that I’ve personally gathered (see the “pics” below)
to data others have dumped
to links to data published on calmaplombprombombbalm.com
to data relevant to events and happenings around the Bay Area and elsewhere
to other kinds of data.
The idea for this blog arrived when writer Josef Kaplan described calmaplombprombombbalm.com as “data-dump minimalism”. I’d been looking for a more general platform to discuss poetry and poetics, publicly announce releases on calmaplombprombombbalm.com, and more. After returning to Negativland’s Helter Stupid the other day, it became clear that there truly was not enough data.
Our first dump comes from a text-photo project I’ve been working on since I started house-sitting in Nob Hill on May 29: tentatively titled Summer on Nob Hill. A collection of effaced graffiti, each picture frames a collaboration between a graffiti artist and a homeowner, landlord, renter, or worker hired to mask the graffiti. With one month left in my residency here, there’s sure to be at least one more dump from this series.
